Cheat sheet for tourists: beaches of Israel

Crib
Resorts of Israel are very beloved by Ukrainian tourists – they conquer travelers with their diversity and wide opportunities for both relaxation and health. If you want to go diving and swim in the bizarre world of coral thickets, take a healing mud bath, play volleyball or even chess, soak up a sun lounger with a book from a special beach library – please, there is more and more!

A nice bonus is also the security system on Israeli beaches – vigilant lifeguards, who, by the way, know a lot of foreign languages and can even freely communicate in sign language, vigilantly monitor the situation on the beach, and if necessary, are always ready to instantly help those who are needs her.

About 60% of Israeli beaches popular with foreign tourists are located along the Mediterranean coast, they occupy about 200 kilometers of the coastline – Haifa, Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Netanya, Herzliya, Acre, Ashkelon. The rest of the beach areas are located on the shores of the Red, Dead and Galilee seas.

Today we will tell you about the five best beaches in Israel – completely different and, of course, very interesting, on which you will have a wonderful vacation!

The best beaches of Israel
If you like noisy parties, beach parties, and parties on the coast, falling asleep only at dawn, you will definitely like the coast near Tel Aviv – the lively club life here does not stop until the morning. If, on the contrary, you like a quiet holiday in a relaxed atmosphere – go to the North coast of Western Galilee. For those tourists who want to improve their health while on vacation in Israel, beaches on the Dead Sea coast are excellent, with many hospitals and health centers nearby.

Tel Aviv beaches
Tel Aviv’s beaches are considered the best in Israel, and for good reason. The length of the central urban beach area is 10 kilometers of the coastline, and it is also divided into 10 zoned internal beaches, each of which can offer vacationers their own “chips”. And since each such inner beach has its own characteristics, it is they who form its audience.

Locals usually prefer the beaches located in the north, while tourists choose zones in the central part of the city. Southern beaches are popular among residents of Jaffa and representatives of the hipster movement. By the way, one of the beaches in the northern part of Tel Aviv was chosen by representatives of sexual minorities.

Please note: Most of the beaches in Tel Aviv are free, but parking is paid everywhere – this should be considered for those tourists who travel by personal car or rent a car in Israel.

Eilat beaches
One of the most popular tourist resorts, Eilat, can offer its guests a large selection of beach areas with a total length of more than 12 kilometers. The best beach in Eilat is Coral Beach, which is especially loved by divers for their fantastically beautiful coral reefs. Another beach and tourist attraction of Eilat is communication with dolphins. You can see these wonderful marine animals near both the Dolphin Reef Park and the Dolphin Beach coast, where you can swim with dolphins. Entrance to the dolphin beach is paid, the ticket price depending on the season can be 40 – 58 shekels.

Beach in the resort of Herzliya
The resort town of Herzliya, located between Netanya and Tel Aviv, offers travelers all the conditions for a luxury vacation. Reputable hotels, chic restaurants and noisy bars make it possible to organize an excellent vacation for even the most demanding tourists, and parties that last until late in the evening will not let any guest of this prestigious resort get bored. The length of the beach is about 6 kilometers, there are many attractions near it, and the resort’s infrastructure is well developed.

Caesarea Beach
Another popular tourist beach in Israel – Caesarea beach (Caesarea Beach), which is located 50 kilometers north of Tel Aviv. Next to it are the ruins of an ancient Roman aqueduct, and the sand is very light and clean. Especially the coast is enlivened during the weekend, when tourists come here, as well as vacationers from the locals.

Dead Sea beaches
Holidays at the Dead Sea are known throughout the world for their beneficial effects on human health. Most of the beaches on the Dead Sea coast are located on the south coast, in the resort of Ein Bokek, and belong to private hotels, so almost all of them are paid. But this is more than compensated by a well-developed infrastructure and well-groomed territories.

If you want to get the most out of your Dead Sea vacation, visit the spa resorts located on Mineral Beach – healing mud, mineral baths and wellness treatments really work wonders!
