Walking in Vietnam

For modern tourists, the countries of the East and Asia are very attractive, since they are almost unknown. Interesting buildings make fantasy come true. Vietnam is a vivid example, it has a huge number of attractions, only in Ho Chi Minh there are more than thirty of them. For example: Vietnam Notre Dame, Ku Chi tunnels, museum of military operations, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Zoo and Botanical Garden, Mekong Canals. You can list almost indefinitely – wherever you look, there are sights everywhere.

In a word, Vietnam cannot be described – each city is different from each other. But one thing can be noted – this is a country with a communist present, where there are still pioneers and a monument to Lenin, a mausoleum, red flags, which cannot but recall the Soviet past.

HO CHI MINH CITY
Ho Chi Minh City is the largest southern city of the country, founded in 1698, visited the capital of both French Indochina and South Vietnam. Today it is a modern metropolis located on the Saigon River, with tall buildings, a huge number of cafes and restaurants made in the European style, but offering exotic Asian cuisine, for which gourmets come from different parts of the world. Skyscrapers here are adjacent to ancient colonial buildings and many ancient temples. In Ho Chi Minh City, guests are offered a variety of excursions, for example, along the Mikong River, where there is a large floating market, where trade is boiling. Everything fresh (fish, seafood and fruits) is sold here at very low prices. Sightseeing boats go to the factory for the production of rice paper, sweets. Those who wish can buy the goods they like. From Ho Chi Minh, tourists travel to the resort islands of Winperl and Nha Trang – the most beautiful, with modern hotels, clean beaches and excellent service.

From the colonial French era, Vietnam got scripts based on the Latin alphabet and Catholic churches – the Cathedral of St. Joseph and Notre Dame de Saigon. There are many pagodas in the center of Chinatown, the oldest being Ba Thien Hau Temple. Its color lies in aged, almost black, carved wood, faded painting.

HANOI
Moving to Hanoi, you immediately notice the difference between cities. Even the air here is cleaner and fresher, the street is warm, but not stuffy. In the old city, people trade behind the shelves, offering tourists many types of seafood with special sauces, insects on skewers. Women with rockers are selling fruits, right there, right on the street, local hairdressers serve their customers. And in Hanoi, divine coffee!

The city is interesting in that the locals love to dance – they do it right on the streets. The choreography is excellent, as if all professional dancers. Tourists do not stand aside and succumb to dance fever.

You can visit Hanoi by the Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Returned Sword). Everything is beautiful, clean and tidy here. There are restaurants around the lake where you can relax. And in the morning you can see the Vietnamese of old age doing exercises.

Vietnam is a multifaceted country with strong, hardworking and people loving their country. Holidays in Vietnam with its unforgettable flavor will remain in your memory forever.
